October 26, 201015 yr They said themselves that they would never develop for x plane.FSX, supposedly offers more flexibility. That wasn't the issue! The problem was the release methodology Austin uses, releasing updates month after month. From their perspective this creates an unstable development platform, because of the potential of these updates breaking their software. This increases their support costs. FS updates are far apart providing a static development environment for a longer period of time. I think if Austin did the same with X-Plane 10, PMDG and other FS developers, may very well jump on board. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
October 28, 201015 yr Commercial Member Never said he was making it up. But Ryan also said X Plane railroads the developer and doesn't offer as much flexibility as FSX.Doesn't really matter anyway, does it?
