October 24, 201015 yr Hello there,I need some help here, maybe you guys have any idea how to solve this problem, I have in my simulator the ISD scenery of LIMC, a couple of years now, lot of happy flying there, but this is change, I wanted to make a little fly from LIRF to LIMC, in finals on the glideslop I notice that the area of the airport was totally grey!! no runways whatsoever, just a couple of buildings, here and there but nothing else, no taxiways no signs no nothing!!! just aircrafts taxing in a totally grey background, ugly. Then I wanted to take the ISD scenery of my simulator, because normally when you do that, the standard airport will showup, I took the files away LIMC 2005 and LIMC terrein from the list of scenerys in Flight Simulator and Windows, start up the FS and you guess wat! no changes at all, the same grey space, just this time the buildings had no textures, the same buildings of the scenery that I just took away, you can image my surprise, then I went to the scenery cfg, not files from LIMC there, I did look everywhere posible but nothing, I don't know what to do, any ideas??????????????? please!!!!!!I been flying MSFS 2004 since 2004! and my experience in FS is advanced, working in a aircraft cfg, has no secrets for me just the same with scenerys, sounds, effects, etc. but this problem just blow me away!!!Thanks in advance for your helpCub51
October 24, 201015 yr What about reinstall scenery? Simple as that...you don't have textures at all, that's why everything is gray. My Specification: I CAN RUN FSX IN MAX SETTINGS....i don't care about dell, bell, amd, intel, 60000 wats power supply or alien made graphic card....
October 24, 201015 yr Author What about reinstall scenery? Simple as that...you don't have textures at all, that's why everything is gray.Hello there,Thanks for your tip, the problem is that I have customized my scenery a lot, so if I install the standard scenery I will lost all the changes that I have made! and I don't want that to happens, anyway I been working on it the last hour and I made some good changes, I'll post a shot just to let you see what I have done, the airport is nearly good again, just a couple of textures are missing, maybe you have any idea how to help this problem. Thanks a lotCub51
October 24, 201015 yr Cub51,Two things:1. Do you have both LIMC Terrain and LIMC (airport) folders installed and activated (remebering the airport scenery must be over the terrain layer)?2. How many textures do you have in your LIMC Texture subfolder? You may have some missing. I have 448.Let us know!

October 25, 201015 yr I have the exact same problem as Cub51, however I have 440 texture files in the LIMC Texture subfolder. Hmmm... System specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit; Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz; 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz; 8 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (NVIDIA)
October 25, 201015 yr I know that in some cases you need to copy/add the textures to your main FS9 texture folder too.I had this problem with ISD and even payware stuff....See this thread...http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?showtopic=14983Let us know if that fixes it... :( Al Stiff
October 25, 201015 yr Like altstiff says. You need to add some textures to the main folder. It would be best to remove the whole LIMC installation you have.Next redownload the scenery from AVSIM (unless you already have it at hand). Here's what the LIMC2009v1.1 pack looks like inside:If you reinstall and not update (from LIMC2005), you won't need the updateONLY folder. As you can see, there is also a separate texture folder. These 4 files go to the main FS texture folder. In the Addon Scenery you will find two folders both of which must be installed and activated. My Malpensa was installed like this and it looks just fine.Let us know for sure.
