October 4, 200322 yr Pretty slick ride gentlemen I,m not easily impressed, but ya done today. Good ShowFarmer
October 4, 200322 yr It's modelled even more realistically than in FS 2000 ... so that's a "yes" to your question.Best,Owen
October 4, 200322 yr Congratulations for your new release! you simply once again have outdone yourselves!! a joy to fly, to see, to have!Best,
October 4, 200322 yr I guess I will have to continue to use free one for FS2000 in my FS2004 sim. I think the price is a mite high. I am not saying it is not worth it, but I may get the same uesage out of a Chevrolet as a Cadillac. Even thouth the Caddy is worth more. I simply am not wanting to pay that much. I am dissappointed . I really like the freeware one. My favorite. I may breakdown someday.
October 4, 200322 yr I could not resist, and after about 1.5 hours of flight, I'm really impressed! This is the best bush type aircraft that I have ever flown in any sim. I'm really impressed by the virtual cockpit, which in my opinion is the only way to fly GA aircraft. A few more clickable switches would not have hurt, but overall look and quality are so fantastic I don't mind. Have I mentioned that the Porter flies & feels great? I'd absolutely recommend this plane to any GA and bush pilot :)VOlker :]
October 4, 200322 yr anyone else having trouble with the link ? ...can't get past thru to the purchase area. I'll keep trying.Greg
October 4, 200322 yr disregard above post....was a blocked pop ups issue with the Google toolbar:-roll now to go have some fun GREG
October 4, 200322 yr I was a dumb @ss and paid via pay pal. Forgot it went out as an e-check. Expected clear date Oct 8th. Doh.
October 5, 200322 yr Isn't there a piston version and a turboprop version of this airplane? Is the FSD model turbo only?
October 5, 200322 yr I can't tell from the screenshots- does the VC feature tinted windows or reflections in the cockpit plexi? I've been spoiled by Carenado's excellent Centurion, love the way you really feel you're looking through plexi instead of just holes. Can anyone with the Porter let me know about this feature in the model before I buy? Thanks!Joel
October 5, 200322 yr Doesn't have the same blue tint as the Centurion, but definately the reflections. The VC is one of the most detailed for any single engine prop aircraft yet----- IMO. Right down to the exposed cables from the throttle quadrant running through the panel, brake lines, etc! Gauges are "crisp" also!!L.Adamson
October 5, 200322 yr The color of the cockpit windows is even configurable in the Load Manager program. The default is slightly tinted, looks very realistic, in my opinion. I haven't tried the more colorful settings yet.VOlker :]
October 5, 200322 yr simply fantastic!!! It's worth every cent i paid for it!A big Thank You!!!Cheers,Michael
