November 1, 201015 yr I recently upgraded my nVidia drivers and installed the new(ish) 'Inspector'.Having only an 8800GTS, the benefits were in the negative, so I removed the driver (properly), reverted back to 197.57 and reinstalled nHancer.HOWEVER... Since then, the external 'Frame Limiter' simply will not lock FSX frames. This is driving me nuts. Any idea what's going on?Here is the batch file:start D:\"! FS DATA\!4 MASTERS\FPS Limiter\"FPS_Limiter.exe /r:D3D9 /f:30 /x:OFF /l:OFF "F:\Flight Simulator X\fsx.exeIt does launch FSX, so SOMETHING is working. Thanks Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
November 1, 201015 yr Hi Phil,Have you tried rebuilding the batch file, sometimes that's all it takes. \Robert Hamlich/
November 1, 201015 yr Author I have yes, countless ******* times  Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
November 1, 201015 yr I have yes, countless ******* times :Cry:Silly question... Have you set your FSX frames to unlimited?Have you tried to completely uninstall/reinstall the program?I wish I could help a little more, I'm in the middle of a defrag right now and it won't finish before I leave for work. \Robert Hamlich/

November 1, 201015 yr From what I understand (and this includes some dialogue with Nick Needham over at Simforums), the external frame rate limiter doesn't work as reliably with the most recent NVidia drivers. I began seeing the same kind of behavior you're seeing when I switched to a GTX 480 earlier this year and started using up-to-date drivers for it. I've since switched to using the internal FSX frame rate lock, which seems now to produce better results.Hope this helps. Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery
November 2, 201015 yr Author It's really strange that after going back to earlier driver, it still won't work. With an 8800GTS card the FSX limiter really hits hard  Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)
