Freeware A320/321 with VC

Featured Replies

I'm a bit of a freeware VC snob and have searched high and low for an A320 with a virtual cockpit. I've since rebuilt/merged the Aerosoft 318 and have a nice functioning VC along with my Project Open Sky A330's, and A340's...but does anyone know of a freeware A320 (or 321..310 would be cool too if a freeware VC one is out there).. that has a virtual cockpit? I'd love to have one in my collection since I'm lacking some of the medium airbus birds compared to my overgrown Boeing collection. Anywise, thanks! **Also, even if it lacks gauges I'm willing to get going on programming/merging one to functionality.

I don't think any exist. I remember looking around for along time, but never saw one. the only A320's that I know that have a VC are payware, and not matter which one you chose, you'll always spend over 30 euros:- The Overland is expensive because you get the entire Airbus lineup. That's actually not expensive, but if you only want the A320, it is...- The Wilco has a rather nice VC, but is expensive because of its system functionality.- the AirSimmer is xpensive, but there are complaints. The modeling apparently is very nice, however.

All I see is Aerodesigns' A318, nothing else, unless you devote your time to use the very first edition of the PA A320 V1 that had Eric Marciano's panel with it. So I guess payware is the way to go if you want some good A320s with virtual cockpits. I don't see why you should avoid Wilco's or AirSimmer's though AFAIK, these two packages made us flight simmers drool over the keyboard, but when it comes to visual and interior detail, they lack these. PSS once had an A320 package that was great but can only be purchased as the "A320 Professional" package available on Just Flight currently. Infact, the PSS A320 had its fair share of repaints. Thanks for the input guys. I've already merged/generated a nice working VC for the A318 (You wouldn't believe how long it took to find the right panel configuration for that one), but just don't have the heart or expendable income to pay for aircraft. Thank you again for filling me in on the availability of the models sought for.

I am not sure I understand you correctly. Sorry if I don't. But if I do, I'd say it's the other way. The main advantage of AirSimmer's bus is the visuals and the interior (VC) detail. PSS had a very poor, ugly and unclickable VC.
