In the upper right corner of your screen is you forum user name with an arrow on it. Click the arrow to open a context menu that has a My Profile link and then click on it to go to your profile. :)

I believe the "edit" option expires after a hour - so any corrections/edits must be made within that time frame or it cannot be changed.

That is exactly right. If you don't edit within an hour of your original post, you are out of luck.

If you are using IE8 as your Browser, there is a good (free) spell checker plugin available.http://download.cnet.com/ieSpell/3010-12512_4-11309092.htmlI just used it to check this post.
