November 14, 201015 yr Hi,WBGG and WBKKI have been looking around and apart from a Malaysian simmer site (which requires you sign up) there seems to be no scenery for Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. Also a point of interest is that airliners overfly WBKK a lot. It is close to Brunei and closer to Mt Kinabalu which is the tallest mountain in SE Asia. Kota Kinabalu is great for golf too.http://www.malaysiansimmer.freejoomlas.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1Kota Kinabalu is becoming another hub in Asia, as it is like Bali.I downloaded an old WBGG scenery but would like a newer one to represent the new terminals. I have KLIA v2 and that is brilliant.WSSSNow for Singapore. I have the Terminals file by Jan I think? I have the gates/airbridges but one terminal is completely missing visually although the AFCAD has gates.Any ideas anyone? Before I get this post booted off the FS2004 forum should I put in a request (rather than make it here) for airport scenery at another forum on Avsim? Just asking.
November 15, 201015 yr IMHO the WMKK and KL scenery looks good, however the mesh, as explained by Mr Shamsuri, is of low resolution photos and only the airports have autogen. Kota Kinabalu dunno. WSSS and the rest of Singapore is best seen with Samsoft's The Very Singapore payware scenery, covering the entire WSSS field including the brand new T3, as well as a decently simulated scenery of the City. I'd recommend ImagineSim's WSSS however, this one has more detail. Dave. November 15, 201015 yr I've been working on an FSX project that does all airports in Sarawak, including Sarawak terrain. It's just about too much work to try to regress it to FS9 but I suppose it could be done. WBGG has lengthened the runway such that it now handles B747-class aircraft. I didn't have any custom scenery object experience, and started out working on the WBGG terminal, but was having trouble and put it on the shelf for a bit while working on a simpler project for PHNY so I could get a bit better at it. Hope to get back to WBGG at some point.scott s.

Is there one for Ku Ching?
November 17, 201015 yr I found this through Malaysianwings.net - I holiday quite often in Sabah / Malayisa and find this forum quite interesting as it has a separate channel dedicated to flight sim.Its funny, the scenery works fine on my FS9 set up,. I know the scenery includes the new runway extension at WBKK . Have you removed your existing WBKK AFCAD file as the scenery comes with its own and i dont know if they are conflicting in some way?

November 19, 201015 yr Disabled any mesh / terrain work for me.In my case,I only have FSGLOBAL 2010.It works fine here.Sorry no screen :(I just remembered I have Borneo mesh (the same one as the Malaysia Peninsula Mesh). I don't want to disable it as Mt Kinabalu looks awesome! November 23, 201015 yr Graeme this scenery is beautiful but the runway is covered with grass and power poles causing a collision.Apart from that it is excellent. How did you find that scenery if I may ask? Is there one for Ku Ching?OK, I disabled the Borneo mesh, the runway is now completely visible.Still got some light/electric poles on the runway as in the image I have posted.I want to keep the Borneo mesh, what is the BGL file I have to delete of the Borneo mesh, that is the one at WBKK?What can I do about the poles? I had Jan Martin's WBKKs jetways terminals files (9 and 11 I think) and would like to get rid of them.
