November 19, 201015 yr Hi guys,I see you people all spectating and asking what's going to be added in the NGX they are developing at the moment. I am curious too, but is it really necessary to do that? As Robert and Ryan are saying, it will be the most realistic plane they've ever made, and even not very important things are added, so it's very likely that the brakes are realistic, and they have strobelights, so could we please stop with making all these unnecessary threads? Maybe you find me, and maybe i am, a whiner, but it has no effect, since Robert and Ryan aren't answeringthanks
November 19, 201015 yr I must say that they do quite a nice job of answering! Just look at Capt. Randazzo's reply to the brake question. You would be hard pressed to get an answer better than that!Have a nice weekend. Ethan Rayhorn My Office: (Taken at FL410)

PMDG promote discussion, and they regularly partake in the (mostly) great discussion that occurs. You shouldn't let it bother you, definately not a favoured attribute of a future NGX driver :( Sam Crawford "Don't judge the intelligence of an individual by the number of posts that they have made. November 19, 201015 yr Not every question is necessarily irrelevant for those interested in the NG though, because not every NG has the same fitments and options, which is hardly surprising given that it's been available for quite a few years now, and different airlines have differing preferences. Many NGs don't have the VSD for example, or the angle of attack indicator, some don't have the HUD, some that have the HUD don't have too fancy an autoland capability because they have the HUD. There are at least two different MCP types an NG can have, as well as two different sets of standby instruments. The early ones have a slightly different overhead with different cabin service options, some have better navigational radio suites than others, some have a rough field kit, one or two have the eyebrow windows, there are many different options for the DU displays and the FMCs are almost certainly not identical for many different fleet NGs, because some of the functions cost extra to have the software enabled, and not every airline chooses to obtain all of those functions. Last but not least, a BBJ variant can have a vast array of customer options, especially where the fuel capacity is concerned, so it's a broad church where the phrase 'realistic NG' is concerned. All of that variety means that a completely realistic NG might easily not have a feature people might be expecting. Of course we know that the PMDG 737NG is based on a real one (even if which one that is has to remain a secret), but that will have been the basis for several models in the set, and although it is likely that PMDG chose an NG which was fairly typical to use as a main reference source, they may well have had to add options that the one they studied in fact did not have, in order to make the PMDG version meet the expectations of some demanding customers.Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
November 19, 201015 yr - It's very well that consumers are having conversations about what they want and espect to get in their upcoming product, in this case the 737 NGX. It's also very well that consumers enter discussions. For theproducer, PMDG, it's only good to see these conversations and discussions so the producer will get a good clear view of what the consumers now exactly wants. Steven Albi
