  1. This plug-in seems to be very epic. I was searching for this. A well gradient of layers in terms of lightnings of the sky, clouds and visibility. Does this plug-in also have an algortihm that determines the amount of grey haze in the air with respect to the local humidity and temperature? For example, in very hot countries the visibility is poor. Despite 'clear' skies and beautiful weather. When at a certain altitude above these kind of countries (especially summers obviously) you see a lot of haze and sometimes combined with smog above large® cities.
  2. copy-paste X-Plane info from the last topic is news? Again disappointed PMDG! I always love PMDG, but not their 'announcements about the announcement of the announcement very shortly'.
  3. So, we can expect some preview screenshots for X-Plane soon? What about the 747 for X-Plane?
  4. RSR said that they will bring 737NGX, 777X and 747X to X-Plane.
  5. We all don't know. Maybe Kyle is that kind to tell it us? -_-
  6. Shadows? That's a default feature in X-Plane .... -_-
  7. I think it's indeed the pogo stick, not joking The secret 'project' is just that pogo stick as a PMDG joke but the real surprise will be the products ^^
  8. The surprise is that there will be a surprise! Or, the surprise is that we will get 1 preview screenshot The surprise is the release of 737NGX, 777X and 747v2 in same release period ^^ (I hope..)
  9. Pictures is what we need Kyle! Pictures of PMDG in X-Plane 10 I need this 747v2 of PMDG for X-Plane  , and 737NGX as well. And 777 ^_^
  10. PMDG announced an announcement! Waiting for the first preview shots!
  11. Finally! That's a small relief and sounds promising.
  12. I hope they will deliver the 747v2 for X-Plane 10 a.s.a.p. Will be amazing
  13. No.. FSX was that perfect out of the box you wanted to say? - In X-Plane World we already welcome PMDG by the statement: 'PMDG announced an announcement'
  14. I did not even read this. Just did ctrl+f 'X-Plane' but nothing .. <_<
  15. So PMDG, after FSX:SE, P3D... what's the news for X-Plane huah? B)
  16. ... and X-Plane! ... and then I will be returning my attention full time to getting the P3D version of the 777 into beta testing, and the 400v2.0 of course, and...and...and....
  17. .. but X-Plane does! B) So we may expect it in the X-Plane version. Heat blur is even a default feature of X-Plane ...
  18. It's like math: X = 737NGX Y = 777X Z = 747v2 thus, Sentence #1: "Product 737NGX, 777X and 747v2 will be migrated into Xplane." Sentence #2: "Product 737NGX, 777X and 747v2 will be our first release in Xplane."
  19. What will be Rob's topic heading of its release? [New Year. New Products. Enjoy your present! - JAN 2015] ^_^ What will be Rob's topic heading of its release? [New Year. New Products. Enjoy your present! - JAN 2015] ^_^

  21. Simple answer is: yes Well, let me help you Daniel. - I was a passioned guy flying PMDG airplanes in FSX and och.. what have I learned a lot of it! But I moved from FSX to X-Plane 10 since X-Plane is not a dead project and 'not' limited since it is 64 bits, compared to the 32 bit FSX. As a result of this, X-Plane is able to introduce more opportunities and is just way more complex and advanced for the user but also for delopers. This results in a higher quality simming experience. Furthermore, X-Plane runs way more better on a computer than FSX. It used all your hardware and you are able to configure it more easily. Next to that, and thats why I love and now stick with X-Plane: whole Europe in photoreal is available (for free!) in high quality. And don't ask me why but it's true: photorealistic scenery in X-Plane looks and feels way more realistic than the same photorealistic scenery in FSX. Within FSX it looks great, but still like a cartoon sim. PMDG is just too good and beautiful for FSX When we fly PMDG in X-Plane well ..... The only problem for now is that we are in a 'transition period'. X-Plane 10 is going to catch up FSX completely in the near future, I am sure of that. It's just waiting for two critical items: 1) Uber-Quality aircraft such as PMDG 2) Uber-Quality airports However, 1) There are already some great quality aircraft. The only items they often lack is: uber-quality cockpit textures and enhanced sounds. If PMDG made 100 buttons, you will get 100 different button sounds for example. This depth in sound quality lacks a bit in X-Plane. BUT, it's coming. 2) There are some high quality airports already available for X-Plane but not that many. The biggest advantage of airports in X-Plane compared to FSX is the advanced technology such as HDR lightnings. I hope I have helped you a bit. Edit: Well, I am not trying to start up a screenshot forum here but let me try to show what we (X-Plane users) mean with our X-Plane feeling. Now, imagine you are flying here with PMDG. What do you tink? B) Note: screenshot has not been edited. What you see is what you are able to get. With an easy plugin, you are able to tune the colors in X-Plane to satisfy your eyes.
  22. I can fully agree with you Don. We are just in a 'transition period' between leaving FSX and entering the new market with more opportunities: X-Plane. The first great 'PMDG'ish' product in X-Plane will be IXEG 737 Classic. The accuracy, precision, system wise/-depth, aircraft modelling and physics of this great bird are based on real Flight Data which makes it very realistic. I am sure that PMDG will increase the potential in their product enormously with the opportunities within X-Plane. We will see, I cannot wait to see the quality of PMDG NGX, 777 and 747v2 in X-Plane. Everything in X-Plane, with exception to aircraft, is far more better and advanced compared to FSX. Furthermore, Airport/Scenery developers have more possibilities and freedom to build airports/scenery based on better, more up to date and advanced technology.
  23. Wait for the IXEG 737 Classic and we will be satisfied for a while!
  24. Not. That's why I say, don't imagine. Just wait for the correct answer.
