  1. Stop imagining. Start saying facts. Are we aviation guys or not? Then be and stay precise.
  2. These secret projects are just the NGX, 777 and 747. Saying nothing, showing nothing but then: boom..big surprise!
  3. No nice videos from customers about this bird?
  4. True, but the 777 lacks of visual qualities, same for the 757 and 747-8. Only great a/c that is coming is the IXEG 737 and MD-80 by Rotate. Maybe JAR Design A330 as well, but we will see. It's just time for PMDG :(
  5. Any developers reaction regarding those correct issues?
  6. Guys...it's a secret PROJECT. Maybe it won't be even an aircraft but something else, like the pogo stick?
  7. You guys understand the right priciple! However, Robert said a few days ago he is preparing the NGX, 777 and 747v2 for X-Plane platform. But I hope the 'long term plan' will be 'short term plan' =) If guys are curious how PMDG quality can be in X-Plane, I advise you to take a look at 'IXEG 737 Classic' project and movies. There are movies from 2013 about the complexity and realism of it, but the texturing has been optimized. Therfore I recommend you to take a the movie from 2014. Note: It's not promoting, just facing with the facts about where we have to go to together! ^_^
  8. I bet if PMDG releases NGX, 777 and/or 747v2 (and not a prototype plane (!)), then a new era will reach with many new X-Plane followers. X-Plane is able to get much more out of PMDG's quality than FSX is able. People are just frozen on PMDG and not on FSX itself. X-Plane has so many potential. X-Plane potential starts where FSX stopped. The dynamics, the 'feel' of flying, lightnings, rendering features, DX11 and many more! - Same story for Aerosoft and their Airports. For example, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol looks way more realistic and dynamic compared to the FSX version. Taxing under an apron light will light up your cockpit when you approach it for example. Furthermore, X-Plane is able to handle more out of your hardware. So, there are only pluspoints for PMDG to get started with X-Plane (a.s.a.p). No need to worry about market opportunity. Nobody was able to think about a machine with 1000 mp3 numbers on it, untill Apple JUST DID IT. Think about this philosophy, it's a mindset.
  9. PMDG in XPL = Golden Age, like the release of the NGX years back. - 737, 747 and 777 for XPL will be a dream!
  10. better make the 747v2 for X-plane 10 ... (and convert NGX to X-plane).
  11. Anybody noticed something about too large cockpit windows. I fully agree with that. I assume the current cockpit windows measures the blue print of the real B737, however .. in sim it looks indeed too large.
  12. What you see is what you get with PMDG
  13. Hello, http://bit.ly/1mho51s See ya!
  14. That's marvelous news. And Robbert, take care the coming times! Oh, by the way ... where's the application form for PMDG to participate as 'The Netherlands'!
  15. Ryan, I am also planning to get a new rig. (From Inter Core Duo to i7 4770K haha ). Thus, I am able to send you guys a support ticket with a new registration key? - How are the performance with the NGX/777X on a i7 4770K and GTX 780 (not 780 Ti) with some extra add-ons?
  16. Oh seriously, ever I'll become a 'PMDG Engineer, testing that plane at ATA-related engineering items! Anyway, great news Robert, Ryan and rest of the marvelous team. Especially about C*U. It's a complex thing... I'm looking forward to the next updates Oh seriously, ever I'll become a 'PMDG Engineer, testing that plane at ATA-related engineering items! 17. "UNABLE CRZ ALTITUDE" Causing Condition FMC predicts aircraft cannot reach the new CRZ ALT due to performance limitations or no cruise time possible at entered CRTZ ALT. Correct Action Clear message and review CRZ ALT selection. Enter aircraft altitude or lower. FMC will not recognize descent phase until cruise phase is attained. - In other words, your Top of Climb (TOC) is beyond the Top of Decent (TOD) ; how are you able to reach that point if you had to decent? And thus your aircraft is not able to reach that specific value of altitude. Just decrease it until you do not get that message or just check your FMC info, it will come with a recommendation for your CRZ ALT.
  18. I have a new 'idea' too: it would be amazing to see some gorgeous 747v2 preview shots and some pogo-stick pictures with Robert springing on it while Ryan is dancing around it! ^_^
  19. It's all about patience little boys .. ^_^
  20. It's time for some 747v2 shots!
  21. I need some preview shots of the 747V2 :cray:
  22. Almost always C/D because it's way more realistic, enjoyful and marvelous to do. It feels like you are really controlling a big machine with many systems. Furthermore, you have to maintain the skills to work from the beginning: cold and dark. But make sure to learn the shut-down procedures as well. Edit: PMDG did a great job to get the NGX as real as possible and simulate many aircraft systems. This created a big love and request to get knowledge of the aircraft systems. In other words, it will be a shame to yourself if you do not operature the aircraft from C/D- or turn-around state. It's like demoralizing the quality of PMDG.
  23. Thank you Ryan for your response, I appreciate that. I understand your vision and opinion as stated as a 'pilots view'. Of course, pilots do not need maintenance pages in the FMC, they (almost) do not need any Circuit Breakers and finally they do not need the Maintenance Access Terminal. But these items are a kind of a new side of Flight Simulation, the Engineering & Maintenance side with a 'ground engineer view'. Maybe is goes way beyond the mission and vision of PMDG, however it can be an eye-opener to extend the value of realism of the products of PMDG. In this case PMDG is able to be a CBT for pilots and ground engineers aswell to become familiar with the systems and practise with them. Nevertheless, I understand that Circuit Breakers requests ridiculous space of time to simulate those complex functions and maybe a small segment of all PMDG customers will actually work with them and thus not profitable nor valuable. Please keep in mind that I'm not dissatisfied with the product of PMDG ofcourse.
