  1. Owh My Gosh!!! I thought seriously: 'Why is he posting a real 737NG cockpit... Huh, it looks abit like the NGX...nah it's real. But wait, outside it looks not that really real.. holy sht...it's PMDG NGX!'. That all in 2 secondes Anyway, heavy photoshopping? Anyway:
  2. Oke, did a new search in the AMM and found a table. Shame I did not found it once. Thanks all.
  3. Oeh..finally some news. Thank you for keeping us up to date, really appreciated!
  4. Hello, Just a small quesiton related to a project for my University. I found on several forums the decelleration rate in 'RTO' mode for a B744 is 11 ft/s^2. Well, that might be true but I need a valid source like the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), or FCOM (Flight Crew Operations Manual) or a QRH (Quick Reference Handbook) or anything else. Question: Anybody knows a valid source with the maximum decelleration rate for the B744 when the Autobrake Selector is set to 'RTO'? Note: PMDG source not allowed. (My apologize dear PMDG, nothing against your knownledge because I know it's 99% true, but we need a 'real valid' source). Thanks in advantage!
  5. No, unfortunately not. As usual, IGN aerial photos covering the single summer season.
  6. ENB is a small configuration file that you have to put in your FSX root folder and will change the FSX colours in what you want. You are able to change the contrast, brightness, shadows and really many more. Google for some difference with and without ENB on. Yup....See attached file  - Such always, screenshot NOT edited. Only ENB used.
  7. Another one. There you go! Screenshot NOT edited. Only ENB used.
  8. Nope, just pure ENB settings. Getting a good Photoreal Scenery, like 'FranceVFR' with the right ENB settings to real more realistic colours.
  9. Image says enough... coming close to reality!
  10. Dear Morgan Wiley, Your idea about flexible flaps and the horizontal stabilizer sound very great to me and I hope PMDG will pass trough your idea. In my opinion it can be possible since they already succeed in modelling flexible wings. About rotating fan blades, keep in mind that these blades are aerodynamic sufficient modelled to rotate without too many 'profile-drag, Pd'. Besides that, to save fuelburn by the turbine if the engine, it's becessary to rotate the blades without too many friction.
  11. Can't wait for the PMDG B777 and B747 v2!! Want to see a preview of the B747 v2 if possible ^_^
  12. Dear Sam, I estimate you are pretty new to Flight Simulator? Correct me if I am wrong and my apologize for it. :)
  13. Oh help, what a dump question seriously... Yea, PMDG has a %-counter. They press "calculate'' and see how far they're ...
  14. Dear PMDG or texture-editors, Transavia cockpit's has a yellow sticker under the Navigation Display: I'm trying to get this sticker in my cockpit as well and have edited the 'PMDG_NGX_Main_Panel.dds', see attached file. However, when loading this aircraft in Flight Simulator X, the yellow sticker does not appear. Anybody is able to help me? Kind regards, Steven
  15. Dear sir/madame, For school we have to make an Airport Master Plan to develop a whole new airport somewhere in The Netherlands. I'm studying 'Aviation Studies' at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences. To develop a runway, we need the main components like runway length and width with 'runway shoulders' eventually. We expect the Boeing 737-800/800W/BBJ2 (CFM56-7B Series) as biggest and heaviest operating airplane and our airport will be a low-cost one. But we are in trouble right now to calculate our needed runway length. We have for now a runway length of approximately 2400 meters but that is just a gues by taking a look at the other small low-cost airport runways. To calculate the right runway length, several things are needed of the local airport such as: QNH, elevation, temperature but also surrounding buildings and many more. There are several diagrams needed such as the Payload/range diagram for in this case the 737-800/800W/BBJ2 (CFM56-7B Series) with a MTOW of 174.200 lb. I am having some trouble to calculate a safe runway length for the Boeing 737-800/800W/BBJ2 and I hope some of you can help me to calculate this and to help me reading and matching the diagrams. Kind regards, Steven

    777 VC

Don't post your dream pictures here please.
  17. Great to hear that PMDG is going to develop a completely new Boeing 747! I'm still in love with the 747 but I had to admit that I found it a pretty outdates plane related to the new NGX so I did not fly it anymore. But can't wait to re-join the 747 cockpit. Also excited about the upcoming 777, can't wait to hear the crying spoiling engines.
  18. You can do me a pleasure with KLM SkyTeam 800WL, a very nice one. However the ArkeFly is nice aswell.
  19. Hello captains, Since many people are having problems with the issue crashing to desktop, I recommend you to give my tips a try: - Treat Flight Simulator well: if your computer has some problems with loading for a few secondes (you get for a few secondes heavy lagg/low fps), then don't go switching views everytime. Pause the game for a few secondes so your computer gets some time to load.- If you want to go to the menu, first of all press P to pause the game. Then click at a menu. When done, press P again and continue flying. I discovered that if you want to go to the menu or want to replay your flight, everytime flight simulator crashed. But if you pause the game and then go to the menu's, most time it won't crash.- Don't go too fast. If you open the overhead panel (shift+6) you notice that your computer needs a few secondes to open it and to load it. Have some patience and don't go too fast with opening en closing it. Try it and let me hear =)
  20. Looks great! Now hoping for a KLM SkyTeam one :)
  21. Seemly you landed at the Polderbaan 18R, 110.10 is set in standby =)
  22. Would be nice if there is an option in the fmc to turn off or on the "passengers environment sounds".
  23. I'm always, when able, using the ILS LOC. When LOC captures, I use the APP function. When stabalized and runway good in sight, I disengage the A/P. When approaching the runway, I disengage the A/T. But I never use autoland, only in bad circumstances such as low vis or heavy rain. I only use the ILS LOC/APP to get stabalized for the landing so I fly straight "into" the glidepath.
