Can commercial members/mods recieve PM's?

Featured Replies

As per the title, I've sent PM's to a few different commercial members over the last few days and none of them show as having been read, let alone relied to.I suppose they either get saturated with PM's or are just too busy to read them, but thought I'd ask if they were able to, just for those very reasons.

Perhaps they have small staffs and are taking a few days off to visit friends or family for the American Thanksgiving holiday.

No, the messages were to their private accounts and I've seen them online posting in the forums. No big deal at all, I just don't want to be wasting my time if they have PM's disabled or something.

All of the commerical members are able to send and receive PMs just like everyone else. They can also block senders just like everyone else, but I don't see any reason why they would with obvious exceptions. Some may just take longer than others to respond, and some may not respond at all. Some may never even check their PMs, I know of two who don't, in fact.

They may have the same error I have, which is that I can't get PMs that are marked as read and replied to, to disappear from the side bar of the forum, consequently I can never tell if I have a new PM or it is an old one without looking closely.Al

Have you tried clearing your notifications by accessing the drop-down menu (at the end of the red arrow in the attached image), and clearing them?
