I forgot to say I'm running FSX Gold Edition (FSX + acceleration)

The 'not connected' status simply means that the MD-11X isn't loaded in FSX.What information does the windows error message provide? Are you using W7/Vista/XP?If the error message doesn't help, try running the MD-11 installer (run as admin if Vista/W7) and select repair and allow it to fix the airplane and the C++ runtime files.

I did what you recommend to me friend downscc but nothing happen, the problem remains. Im running Windows 7 ultimate 32 bits, I have read in another posts something related and someone recommended get the update of the C++ routines, but I don't know how to do this, I don´t even know where can I found the version of my current c++ routines. Thanks

I'm am going to stick with my guess that you have a security problem (the nanny UAC is a real pain). The C++ files that come with the installer do not require update, this is an issue to only a few that have had something else change the Visual Studio configuration; a topic I am not very familiar with.Try one more thing: Use the installer to uninstall the installation. Reboot. Install using 'run as admin' and see if that works. Watch the installer, it should tell you it is installing the aircraft and then it should lauch a new install shield that installs the C++ files after you say OK.If that fails, open a trouble ticket at pmdg web site, support portal. That will get you direct from them support.
