Featured Replies

Hi all, what files do I need to change so that the default FSX planes are not shown anymore when choosing your airplane, but are available to AI traffic or Multiplayer? Thanks, Stefan

I think that you have to edit the air file, but I´m not really sure.

Best regards, Steffen

In FSX the presence or absence of a valid Panel folder is what determines if they are available on the aircraft selection menu. You might try just renaming the Panel folders as Xpanel and see if that does what you want.

FYI - In FS2004 (not FSX) the trick is to modify line 105 of the .air file.In FSX it is the presence or absence of a valid Panel folder which determines if the aircraft is visible or not on the selection screen.

Just to add to this: Just try moving the panel.cfg file out and see if the plane doesn't show up.

Thanks guys, I just removed the whole panel folder and they disappeared from the selection menu.HOWEVER: the Trike is still loading fine as default (which is great)I guess it would give me an error when loading it fully, but it's great because I can leave the default flight as it is and not have to load from one complex addon to the next, which might produce errors! Thanks, Stefan
