December 6, 201015 yr Hi thereI was wondering how I could increase the traffic quantity at my Bleuprint Sim DFW airport without having to move the slider. What I mean by this is that at other airports such as Narita and Changi I have plenty of AI aircraft at the stands but with the same slider settings at DFW I have only 20+ aircraft. I am 90% sure there are not duplicate afcads as I have removed the afcad for DFW supplied by MyTraffic.Any help on this would be much appreciated.ThanksRicy David Andrew - desert based - a330/350 rated.
December 6, 201015 yr Yep, what you need to do is decompile, edit and recompile the traffic file.FSX/scenery/world/Trafficaircraft.bglJust add more traffic going to and from the airport concerned or edit existing entries going to other airports.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
December 6, 201015 yr I have in the past decompiled WOAI traffic files with TTools and modified the traffic files with notepad. You can use the notepad "Find" function to locate each instance of the airport in question and edit the % level to 1 so that all traffic for that flight plan appears at that airport even with traffic level as low as 1%. Of course if you did this for American Airlines at KDFW, just about every flight plan would be changed since it's their hub. Of course these were FS9 traffic files later converted to FSX, so I'm not sure of the procedure for decompiling FSX traffic files into a TTools file set. Art
December 6, 201015 yr Whilst i was replying, I was trying to remember the name of the freeware program I used to do this and I think it was AIFPC (which can be downloaded from the library here or at Flightsim,Ii think). It comes with full instructions and is pretty straightforward. One word of warning though, back up the original file in case you mess it up.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
