December 7, 201015 yr Hello I am having a huge problem trying to get FPS Limiter to run on my new Win 7 64 bit install. I used it with no problems on Win 7 32 bit but now I can't open the create bat interface. I downloaded Java, both 32 and 64 bit to no avail. The command box just flashes for a second and closes. I have searched the forums for an answer but have been unsucessful. I get a good frame rate with my setup but I have small stutters that I am sure would be cured by using the lititer. I used it with great results on my 32 bit install. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciatedChuck H

I save a notepad file with a .bat ending and typed in what I thought to be correct but I got a Windows promt stating" Windows could not find etc". I will keep playing around with it and maybe I will get lucky. Again, thanks for trying to help.Chuck H

December 8, 201015 yr Hi,Make sure you have the hide file extensions turned off, if not the file extension may be changed to .txt and you won't know it. December 8, 201015 yr Can you write here the following?Where FPS limiter files are located? (something like c:\fps_Limiter\)Which is your FSX folder (like c:\fsx)?I have the FPS Limiter folder on my desktopMy FS install is located at C:\Program Files(xx86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X. When I create the .bat file I put the location of FPS as C:\Users\Captain Hunt\Desktop\FPS Limiter. When I try to execute the .bat file I get the tag that Windows can't find it.
December 8, 201015 yr When I unzipped mine it dump each file on the desktop. Using W7 64. Works good. Start new. Create a folder on your desktop, "FSX FPS LIMITER", uzip. Place that folder inside,"Microsoft Games" folder. Should have, Microsoft Flight Simulator X & FSX FPS LIMITER together.Open the Limiter folder and create bat and make sure fsx path is correct. I placed a .bat short cut on my desktop.
