December 8, 201015 yr Commercial Member Hi Guys,Bryan York is just putting the finishing coat of paint on the upcoming PMDG 747 'Voice Commander Edition'. I Can Confirm it will be out this Friday 10th of DecemberFor those who have not ever come across FS2CREW click HERE to go on the website.A Video demonstrating the Packs takeoff will also be released on FridayThe voice editions are an innovation to the flight simulator experience. Not only does the software run a virtual co pilot, it also follows real world checklists and commands. An extract from Fs2crew.com"FS2Crew is an advanced Airline Crew Simulation intended for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and Microsoft Flight Simulator X. To guarantee maximum realism, each version of FS2Crew is built from scratch and custom fitted to work with specific default and 3rd party add-on aircraft.Using real-world SOPs, FS2Crew's goal is to allow users to simulate realistic airline operations from the vantage point of the Captain, who in FS2Crew is usually the Pilot Flying."The PMDG 747 has been done before, but only by button commands. It is about to get the vocal treatment, and i am sure you will seriously enjoy this one!Cheers Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! YOUTUBE and FACEBOOK

December 10, 201015 yr There's some cool features in this one, by the way: slightly different SOP and calls for the freighter version, control of the jetways and doors, and some support for a few abnormal procedures like rejected takeoffs. Nice little touches too like the ground crew voices change when you change continents (which you will in a 747). So, when you take off in New York you get an American ground crew, and when you go to return from Heathrow, you get a Brit, even if you're using US co-pilot voices.
