December 10, 201015 yr Just had my new PC delivered and im really happy with it. I have not even started thinking about overclocking it yet but still I get fantastic performance from it. Intel i7 950 (with aftermarket water cooler) 6 Gig ramNvidia GTX460 (might be going crossfire with it after christmas depending on how much work I get)800W Power box that is totaly silent compared to my old one hehe.1 TB harddrive SATA3Gigabyte x58A-UD3R moboWas built very well by cyberpower and delivery was a breeze. Its all very nicely laid out for cableing. I normaly upgrade my PC as time goes on but this time I decided to let someone else have the trouble of that. I get 45 to 50 FPS with the PMDG MD11 in EGLL will all the graphics turned right up and 80% UT2 Traffic if I turn off autogen and lower the scenery it skyrockets to over 100FPS!. I want to make sure its stable as it was delivered before I start clocking it though. December 11, 201015 yr Give it the REX HD clouds and crummy weather scnerio. That'll bring it down a lot. I have a better system and weather can always take your system for a ride.
December 13, 201015 yr Go figure... you add detail and the sim slows down... :)No. Not slows down. DRAGS it down.
