Hello,This is what I have with my settings:http://simtube.com/video/4271/Aerosoft-Munich-Chopper-Escapadehttp://simtube.com/video/4298/Mig-29-Fulcrumhttp://simtube.com/video/4291/Canberrahttp://simtube.com/video/4310/Fairchild-C-119-Flying-BoxcarOf course not always easy to see in a video :Regards.bye.gifGus.

So when I come here claiming something, it's not because I've only read about it, but rather because I've extensively tested it. I'm not a programmer, but I can confirm I'm probably one of the craziest tweakers :( I only share my opinion on things, I'm not even telling what to do. Only suggesting. I don't really give a rat's a** how someone else sets up their computer. I only wish to help.
Well then don't belittle people based on your own false knowledge. This is the first I've seen anywhere on the internet of TBM not having any effect at all and from my experience you're wrong. Feel free to go and educate yourself about it though :)

Lots of different systems and different tweaks out there. Some work and some don't. Nick N has had the most credible advice out there in my case. Look him up on Simforums. He is very knowledgable and very helpful.Regarding a post here saying something to the effect of unless your a " former aces memeber ". Well anybody remember Steve Lacey? http://www.steve-lacey.com/blogarchives/2005/11/the_blurries.shtmlEverything he wrote was total BS and he claimed to be an aces memeber. I have used FS2004 from before it was available in stores. I use it still today. I have a very high end system and still get blurries. It doesn't matter if I lock frame rates or not. I have had different machines, different processor manufacturers and different video card manufacturers. Same result. I have a much more fluid system and great graphics but at 30,000 ft in a jetliner you still see the same blurries in a distance. All of the tweaks I have done and hardware I have used clearly points to it being code used by Microsoft when designing the game. If Mr. Lacey can provide me proof that I'm wrong then so be it but Here is comments I and another posted to his blog in 2007 and he never answered us. He only answered those who agreed with his theory. Again this is from a so called former Aces Memeber.Jeff said: Hi Steve,I read your post on the Blurries. I experienced them for quite some time. I tried all the tweaks in the cfg file and everything else thrown out there. Well I built a new machine with a E6800 Duel core, Geforce 8800 GTX, 2 GB of ddr2 ram and a Nvidia 680i motherboard and 2 wd raptors. I installed everything and guess what I still have the blurries. They are exactly the same as it was with my AMD 3000 system with 1 gb of ram and a 7800 gs agp card. I locked the frame rate very low and still get the blurries with texture popping. It happens at altitude and down low flying airliners. Why would this happen to a machine with alot more horsepower than my previous one with the same addons? I use Active Sky 6.5 FSUIPC 3.72, GE Pro and Ult. Terrain and traffic. I no addon sceneries and everything is shutdown upon starting FS.Thanks,JeffFebruary 7, 2007 6:56 AM Dave said: Jeff, I have the same situation you just described; 680i/E6600/8800gtx/2GB/500gb RAID (before XPPro now Vista Ult.)...OK, I had blurries with my old pentium 2.4, and they are about the same now with the power rig. No matter what sort of tweaks in FS9,cfg I try, they always creep in. It happens with stock scenery, with Ult.Terrain, GE, Megascenery... However, I loaded SoCal v2 MEGA into FSX and it appears that FSX deals with terrain better - I don't use the fiber parameter, it just makes things worse. FSX seems to be way less prone to blurries which makes me think that the FS9 engine is just flawed and can't deal with scenery well at all over longer period of flying time. I see people claiming "no blurries" and then they post screenshot and it's all wrong with poor texture visible in the background of their shots. I wish I knew how to get crisp AND s u s t a i n e d textures in FS9. I may just switch to FSX because terrain engine can actually keep up with textures better.Dave March 1, 2007 2:03 PM

I will check up on all these leads and links (actually, I saved Steve Lacey's blog about blurred textures to my PC a couple of years ago - thanks for reminding me, I must re-read it!) . Thanks for all replies (including Word Not Allowed's of course),Martin
