December 17, 201015 yr Airsimmer A320's rudder is always in the rightmost position. After engine start made in strict accordance with all procedures described in the manual the rudder remains as it is. Taxiing is impossible let alone take-off. My Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and Pedals is tuned and calibrated and works perfectly with all other aircrafts. FS9, Win7. I'll appreciate any suggestion.
December 17, 201015 yr Make sure your controllers are not using fsuipc. The Airsimmer bus does not use it.

December 17, 201015 yr Author Thanks for the suggestion. I did calibrate my controller through FS but I'll check fsuipc as well. I'm not sure how to disable it in fsuipc though.

Also the Throttles on the IAE version don't work correctly either. If it is the CMF version you're flying you'll have to wait till everything is powered up and you're ready to go.RegardsMike Mike Intel 12700k No over clocking 32GB G-Skill 3600 Ram MSI RTX3080

Thanks for the tip anyway. Guess I'll try to sort out fsuipc keeping in mind what you've said.CheersDima
December 18, 201015 yr Author Looks like my controllers do not use fsuipc (see attached). At least this is what I figure from the respective blank fields in the fsuipc menu. And it doesn't matter whether it's a CFM or IAE version. Does anyone have any other ideas please? Yeah, and what's more, I've just noticed that the front wheel can be controlled by the yoke (which is absolutely abnormal in real aviation), in this case the plane turns to the sides, but as soon as the yoke is back to neutral the front wheel and rudder are back to the rightmost position. Bloody thing!

Bloody thing! As i remember u got to go to assignment in FS. Go to Joystick assignment and change the rudder axis. its got messed up. Tamas Mezei
December 18, 201015 yr Commercial Member As i remember u got to go to assignment in FS. Go to Joystick assignment and change the rudder axis. its got messed up.As mentioned there's something up with your controller setup so it's best to re-assign all the axis. I use the Saitek X52 Pro stick + Saitek throttle and pedals. Only the rudder pedels and tiller control the nose wheel, you can also disconnect the rudder from the Nose wheel by using the NWS disconnect switch next to the landing gear lever, it also disconnects automaticaly above 100 knots.Try this -1.Load up the default Cessna make sure everything is shut down.2.Switch to the A320 cold and dark, power everything up and make sure you enable the Hydraulic electrical pump on the overhead panel since you wont have hydraulic pressure with the engines off.Once you have assigned the correct axis within FS go to the Flight control page on the lower ECAM and confirm the correct movement. If it's working the save then flight.I've not had any issues and switch between the AS A320 and PMDG 744 + MD11 all the timeRegardsRegards Rob Prest
December 18, 201015 yr Author Nothing helps. I remapped the pedals in FS as you suggested but to no avail. ((( Disconnecting rudder from the nose wheel only results in the nose wheel being rigid while the rudder is still at the rightmost position. Fsuipc says that all the axis are not processed as recommended. I'm at my wits end!
December 18, 201015 yr Author Yippee! I've made it!!! It turns out that the rudder was mapped in the yoke axis as well. As soon as I switched it off the rudder took its natural position. There's still a minor problem though - the pedal axis remains reversed. I tried to remap it several times but it didn't help. Normally the reverse box is checked and it works ok in all aircrafts, here I tried to uncheck and check it back but left remains right and vice verse.

Same thing for left and right toe brakesRegards Rob Prest

Same thing for left and right toe brakesRegardsYes, that's exactly the assignments I have - left/right toe brakes - reverse box ticked, rudder - reverse back ticked. The brakes work as they should while the rudder responses in opposite directions. After I unticked the reverse box the rudder remained the same, ticking it back didn't help either. I tried to look for other possible solutions, like changing controller's sensitivity but it didn't affect rudder's directions. ( Will keep trying.
