opening doors

Hope this is the right place to post this question. I have FSX, acceleration etc. I have a G15 keyboard, I have run FSX for the last three years with no problems. I have the door opening set to M!, and for some reason the G2 key, shift +e +2, won't work, it doesn't work if I try it on the keyboard, or even if I don't have the profile on. Any idea's why this would happen ? Thanks in advance.

Is this happening on ALL aircraft or just one or two?If it is just one or two then the problem is most likely a misbehavinggauge that is sending "KEY" events every simulation cycle. These will prevent multiple keystroke commands from being seen properlyas they "break up" the input keystoke stream. If it is happening on ALL aircraft, then perhaps some recent addon utilityis the culprit. If you wan to open these doors easily, I suggest that you get this Open/Close Doors gauge, that displays all doors with the SHIFT+E+X combinations, openable with a single click:http://www.simviation.com/1/browse-FS+Gauges-106-2

If it is all aircraft, make sure you're not parked in a spot adjacent to a fueling station! The "trigger box" for fuel stations in FSX is too large, and will block all "Select" keystrokes.

Yes it happens to all aircraft, shift+e+2 is assigned to the G2 key, I was not at a fueling spot, or parking spot. It won't open even if I try the keyboard. No new aircraft downloaded, only new scenery was from Orbits, PNW, and the Vietnam scenery from SOH, but it wasn't working before this. Will try the door gauge. Thank you all for your responces.

Have tried the door gauge tool and it works. Still have no idea why it stopped in the first place. Thank you all for your help. Merry Cristmas and a Happy New year.
