December 23, 201015 yr First question. I recently got GE Pro 2. I've created 10 texture sets per cloud type. My question is do I have to load these each time I want to use a different set or will FS9 use one depending on the weather. MY second question is I've gon into the panel.cfg file of one of my planes and set the zoom for VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.6. But when I go into fs9 the zoom is still the defualt 1.0 Do I need to change something else. Thanks for any help
December 23, 201015 yr Commercial Member Question 1: Yes, you have to load a texture set manually depending on the type of weather you intend to fly in. If you have active Sky however, you can start Active Sky and download weather, then AS has the capability of telling GEPro what type of cloud cover you'll be flying in and can automatically install an appropriate set of textures prior to starting the sim.Question 2: You're probably seeing the effects of a saved flight, where cockpit zoom has already been recorded at a setting of 1.00. Reload the aircraft from the "Select Aircraft" menu and you should see the effects of your changes. Also make sure that you only have one [Views] section in your panel.cfg.Jim

As usual I want to just jump into (Will read everything tonight) Do I need to set anything in it so it uses GS Pro? Any other quick setup suggestions. Thanks
December 23, 201015 yr Commercial Member Which version did you get? Either way, start it and download some weather and then look for a button to "install GEPro textures". It'll call up the GEPro configurator thing and tell it what cloud cover to install. GePro will install a random "mostly clear" set, for example. Then just start the sim and fly. Enjoy.Jim
December 23, 201015 yr bmarcoux2,Depending on what Active Sky product you purchased affects how GEP interacts with AS.

December 24, 201015 yr Author Hi,Did you purchase Active Sky v6.5 or did you purchase Active Sky Evolution?Got 6.5. Think I have it figured out. This is COOL. I downloaded weather then hit the GE button then had it start FS2004. Correct order?
