How to get AA in FS9?

Featured Replies

Hello all!I'm having some problems getting AA to work in fs2004. It works fine in full screen, but windowed mode is a mess! Specs below:Windows 7Core 2 duo @ 2.2ghzATI Radeon HD 4330Drivers: Driver Packaging Version 8.753.5-100730a-103191E-ATI Catalyst™ Version: 10.7 . 2D Driver Version: 8.01.01.1047 Direct3D Version: 8.14.10.0768 OpenGL Version: 6.14.10.10061 Catalyst™ Control Center Version: 2010.0730.1014.16473 I created a profile for it in CCC with the disired settings ('Use application settings' isn't ticked). If more info is needed, please ask! Merry Christmas,

Danny

Anyone? I posted this in the FS9 forum but no one replied.

I have the same problem. I have an ATI Radeon HD 5670 card (actually two of them in Crossfire mode). I read some stuff on the ATI forums that it may be an issue with their drivers. They are working on the issue, with no hints of when a solution may be out. I would keep an eye on their forums. I feel your pain! If I fly in full screen mode to get the nice looks, I usually end up with an OOM screen, especially with a lot of clouds. So I have to keep it in windowed mode.

In CCC try setting key command to turn on AA. Back when I had a ATI card, in some cases I could set AA from CCC, but it would reset in 3D. The work around was going into the game, then use the key command to turn on AA. KJ
