December 27, 201015 yr I purchased this aircraft last night from Simarket. I see a confirmation stating it is the Pro 2010 version. I confirm this when I see the download link which is for the Pro 2010 version. I confirm this again when the installer says its the Pro 2010 version. However, When I go into FSX and pick my aircraft, It says in the description that its the Maddog 2008 version. I went into Windows explorer and the Aircraft folder is titled 'Maddog 2008" and same with the root folder with in my FSX folder. I believed I purchased the Maddog Pro 2010 version. What gives? It is the 2010 version with wrong file names? Any one else have this problem? FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
December 27, 201015 yr Matthew, this is the same for me. However I do believe that it is normal for this to be shown. Sam Crawford "Don't judge the intelligence of an individual by the number of posts that they have made. Wait until they say something stupid first." CTC Cadet - www.ctcwings.co.uk
December 27, 201015 yr Author Matthew, this is the same for me. However I do believe that it is normal for this to be shown.Nice! Thanks for your input. I just purchased FS2Crew for this bad boy. Do you have it? If you do would you care to comment on it? FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
December 27, 201015 yr So you actually buy stuff first and then look for reviews? :blink:FS2Crew Voice Edition is one really nice addition for the Maddog. But the bird itself will take some time to explore and understand, be aware. Find some FS2Crew related information here.I think what made the former 2008 version of the Maddog to be a 2010 was the additional 2D panel with full analog gauges (never used it, I must admit). So the basis is a 2008 Maddog which might explain the folder names and stuff.I have a completely off topic question, Matthew. What does I NOTHING your comment!!!!!!!! from your signature mean?

Truely love it, the best pair of payware that I have ever purchased for flightsim. Learn how to use it and use it well, it shall not disappoint! The reason I bought fs2crew before I read reviews because its one of the few names in FSX software I know I can trust. I also have heard nothing but great reviews about all the fs2crew products so I knew I was getting a solid piece of software.Don't let that fool you though. I rummaged around for reviews and opinions on the Maddog before I shelled out the money for it. I do that for every scenery and Aircraft before I buy any piece of software.About my signature, In the PMDG forums, a user went off on someone else for no particular reason and he went on some rant about how he was going to believe that he never saw a certain comment and he said "I nothing your comment." I just thought it was funny to hear someone say that. :( FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
December 28, 201015 yr Thanks for the explanation on your signature. That was funny. I know this quoting style of signatures from other forums, but the Avsim based ones were new to me.I'm sure FS2Crew Voice Commander titles will never fail, on any plane. I love them so far and Bryan is really fast on getting smaller glitches out. You are right, one can always buy titles from this company, at least in my eyes.
