In the FS2Crew documentation it says on page 18 that you chould uncheck the V-Spds under the PMDG options to avoid conflicts for these callouts between the PMDG built-in voice and the FS2Crew FO voice which makes sense. However nothing is mentioned regarding the GPWS setting in the same PMDG menu. Then on page 28 discussing the DH it says that you should set the DH to below 0 if using GPWS callouts and since that seems to be the default setting for the PMDG 747 and you're not told to uncheck that option in the same way as with the V-Spds do I understand this correctly that you should always keep the DH setting in FS2Crew at below 0/GPWS? And if disabling the PMDG GPWS setting and then setting the FS2Crew DH setting to the actual DH value what sounds would that give you compared to having the PMDG GPWS setting enabled?Sorry if it's just me beeing confused for nothing but would appreciate your input on this one!

Hi Richard,There's no real absolute. If you want the GPWS sounds to play, check GPWS in the PMDG Sound menu. If not, uncheck them.Setting DH to GPWS in the FS2Crew CFG panel simply removes some redundant FO calls that would be make by the GPWS.I added this request for a BA Virtual member because he said that at BA the GPWS would call V1, not the FO.Cheers,

OK, thanks for the clarification - guess things will become more clear once I've put more time into it testing the different configurations to see what suits my personal taste best.
