disabling head latency

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm annoyed at head movement effect, or "Momentum Effect".I put this to fsx.cfg:[DynamicHeadMovement]LonAccelOnHeadLon=0.000000LonAccelOnHeadPitch=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.000000YawAccelOnHeadLat=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.000000MaxHeadAngle=0.000000MaxHeadOffset=0.000000HeadMoveTimeConstant=0.000000and for cameras.cfg(both one in appdata and another in FSX's root)MomentumEffect=No(I also tried FALSE)In addition, I pasted MomentumEffect=No in Camera section of aircraft.cfg.But they won't work. I still got the effect. Am I doing wrong?I'm using vista 32bit.By the way, does anyone know how to activate "fake spoilerons" visualy without affecting flight dynamics? Thanks.

Very handy, thank you!Happy New Year, Wolfgang

I think there is no cure about it..You have to get used to it :((I am having the same issue as everybody else..I am having fixed VC cameras in order to have everything before me..and i realize in short final that i dont have infront of me the AP disconnect :))))

It didn't work at all.I want to ask what version of FSX you use and if MomentumEffect=No and [DynamicHeadMovement] work.Maybe is it fixed on Acceleration Pack? If so, I'll buy it.I'm using FSX SP2 and the tweak didn't work.Thanks.

I am using FSX with Acceleration and it doesnt work..If you search more you will run into topics that originate mostly from PMDG MD11, and the guys in PMDG say that this is kinda problem of FSX ...For me its true as i have tried everything and i still have a small head latency effect that mess up all my aircrafts...I guess we will have to live with it...

Oh, that's a sad news for me...Thanks for the info.

KHKLKEN I am using FSX+SP2.Believe me, all you have to change is the App Data cameras.cfg, virtual cockpit. This will not stop ground shudder or air turbulence movement of the cockpit..I suggest resetting everything else you have changed back to default then try again.gb.
