I never said I consider FSX to be "video rendering software", I was simply referring to the part of FSX that does the video rendering or is part of the video rendering process. I'm also not trying to establish any sort of credibilty and am totally mystified as to why you would think that, and if you did, why you would react so negatively, being that there is nothing wrong with trying to establish credibility in the first place. Heck, you do that yourself in many of your posts and that's totally OK with me.

I know who Phil Taylor is. You're missing the point entirely. What you have posted is not proof of anything in and of itself. If Phil Taylor has some data to post by way of an application profiler which can demonstrate that PCI-e transfers are holding back FSX performance, then I will believe it. Something like Microsoft's Pix utility should do the job.

You seem to be lumping me into the same category as this person and I think that is an unfair characterization. I do not go out of my way to attack anyone, I may be a bit dismissive at times when people make false assertions and do not listen to the truth (such as the person you are lumping me in with). Anyway, I've said my piece in this thread and made my point. Jahman and I have taken up the discussion elsewhere. As for the other one, I have no intention of speaking to him further. At least Jahman has a clue what he's talking about.
