January 4, 201115 yr HiI have been wondering. Concerning the 737s Winglets. Will the simulation, I.E fms info and range etc change when a 737-700 for example is equipped with the wingletsCheers Dylan Leonard
January 4, 201115 yr Good question!I'm also interested. January 4, 201115 yr Great question indeed. Knowing that the winglets add a small amount of weight, but also a slight increase in range, I am curious to know if the flight characteristics for such equipped NGX models will compensate for the winglets. As you may know, Level D released a winglet update for their 767 that added those changes (at least the increase in range) to the flight model when the winglets model is used.I am hoping this is the case, seeing that PMDG is modeling a short field performance profile for certain models. With PMDG's attention to flight model fidelity it would be nice to see winglets as not just eye candy but as having some effect on the flight envelope, at least for variables that FSX can process such as fuel burn.
