January 7, 201115 yr I've been wondering about multi-monitors since I have some old ones laying around that could be hooked up for some serious simming. I saw the link to DualHead2Go but the price is... wow. That's twice the cost of my GTX460! January can you provide more tips on how to hide the task-bars and make a 'faux' full screen?
January 7, 201115 yr And no need for Full Screen if you Auto Hide Menu and Task Bars and change the colour of Title Bars to Black with dark Green or Black lettering.January, how do you auto-hide the menu bars? January 9, 201115 yr I've been experimenting with multiple monitor setups a lot in the past and have no problem running FS9 with multi-mons in full screen mode. You do have to start/switch in windowed mode. You undock the windows you want to have on other monitors, you drag them there and switch back to full screen. Then you just resize and move the windows to your likings and you're good to fly. There are few more details and obstacles, like if you have panels rendered to 3D windows, they have to be on the primary monitor and such, but you figure that out if you come across this ;)But of course, I'm on XP, no idea if W7 brought any "improvements"...

Setup was as you said, in windowed mode but switching to full screen triggered an unstable, near freeze including an uncontrollable jittery mouse arrow- impossible to use.XP operating system on a (now 7 yr old) AMD 1.8 CPU with equally old GEForce FX5200 vid cards. Since you and others report multi mon, Full Screen usability, must be due to variations in system configurations. In any event, after figuring out how to hide the Menu & Task Bars and colouring Title Bars Black, I felt no need for Full Screen.
