January 7, 201115 yr If you are a UT2 user be sure it is set to spawn AI aircraft at its maximum range so RC can see it soon enough. In FSUIPC after backing up FSUIPC.INI have this in the General settings:TCASrange=0which forces maximum AI detection range.In RC it sounds like you already have Interact with AI already on, necessary for AI diversion.
January 8, 201115 yr Author Understand about traffic just "showing up", however, the controller was able to see and call out the traffic. i.e. "... traffic @ 12:00, 10 miles, FL 350". It knew about it. It told me about it. It didn't move it. Is it possible for RC to see traffic in time to call it out but not move it?As for UT, I'm using UT 1.0, the really old stuff. Is there a similar setting for spawn distance? Added TCAS setting in fsuipc.ini as suggested. _____________________________

January 8, 201115 yr The UT series for FS9 does not spawn AI but lets FS9 do that. If UT1 was an FSX version I can't answer about spawning but I believe it is only in UT2. It was put there to reduce the FSX rendering load due to AI and give the user a choice.The TCAS Range setting actually controls the range of AI around the user that RC sees since that is the reporting Added TCAS setting in fsuipc.ini as suggested.if i gave you a traffic advisory, that means that i saw the ai, calculated it's path, your path, and determined if there was any point that both aircraft would be close enought horizontally or vertically to cause a traffic advisory. a traffic advisory doesn't necesarilly mean there would be a collision, requiring me to move the ai out of the way.if this continues to be an issue, i suggest making a log so i can see what is happening.jd JD Read my blog
