Evga GTX 460 External Exhaust?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks - I'm interested in the Evga GTX 460 1gb video card with External Exhaust (lifetime warranty). I've read that some feel it's too noisy and was wondering if anybody here has had some experience with them? Please let me know what you think of the card especially about it's noise level. My new computer will only accept cards with up to 450 watts and this card and its lifetime warranty seems like a good match. Also I've read some very good reviews of it.Thanks in advance.... Howard

A very quiet GTX 460 is the Asus card. I just got one and it runs at 45 degrees C and 20% fan speed in FSX.It has a big custom heatsink that appears to do the job very well.BTW, I am running with a 400W power supply..
