add this line to the [Main] section of your fsx cfg file HideInfoText=1

To clarify the suggestions --The HideInfoText=1 method hides ALL text messages on the screen including brakes and sound on or off etc.The other method (changing the timing) as described in the link I posted, apparently only disables the "View" text in the upper right hand corner.That is how it works on my setup anyway.
