January 15, 201115 yr I am trying to find a realistic flightplan for IFR from Edinburgh to Reykjavik. The FSX planner seems kind of crazy in what it suggests, I really doubt that what it generates is realistic. It would have me zigzagging all over Orkney and Shetland, going FAR out of my way to use waypoints in those places. I looked on Flightaware, and have seen such a flight, but the info provided does not include any routing info. Any idea how they do this in real life? I'm talking about typical jetliner/freighter flights.Thanks. David Norman Paul
