January 15, 201115 yr The mouse pointer used to hide in FSX, when it hadn't been moved for several seconds. Unfortunately, nowadays it stays visible in my FSX screen. Has somebody got a clue why it won't hide anymore? It's pretty annoying if it stays visible. With kind regards, Kevin Schepers

It's pretty annoying if it stays visible. You might try renaming your FSX.cfg file (to disable it) which forces FSX to build a fresh new one with all of the original default settings the next time you start up FSX.Sometimes doing that will solve mysterious issues such as you have described - no guarantees though. If that does not work, you can always just move the cursor off the screen so it is not seen.Hope that helps.
January 16, 201115 yr Often rebuilding a new fsx.cfg will fix a number of issues. Something else I have also found is that many problems can be related to the default flight too, so it's always worth deleting it and building a new default flight to as an early troubleshooting step.If that doesn't work, I suppose you can always move the pointer up to the top right hand corner.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
