January 16, 201115 yr FSBuild 2.4 is now available. The 2403 release fixes some SID and exporting issues in the 2402 release. The thread with the update link and release notes is:http://www.fsbuild.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3630FSBuild registered 2.3 users get this upgrade at no charge including a database from a recent AIRAC.This version now uses Navigraph for its AIRAC database resources. PMDG users can now have synchronized terminal procedures and other data for their FMCs matched to the FSB planner exports by subscribing to Navigraph. A reminder that Navigraph charges only for the period of the subscription and no additional charges exist for the number of downloads in different formats.Active Sky users will have to reset the path in FSB Options and in the configuration tab exercise the save button. The changes will take effect on the next restart.I bring this up here because a number of PMDG users employ FSBuild for planning and are looking for synchronization between FS and its add-ons and FSB along with PMDG model navigation equipment.
January 16, 201115 yr Thanks for the heads up on this! To be honest I haven't checked that site recently since the NavData wasn't being kept up to date. I even went over to FSC9 to build the routes but for me nothing beats the accuracy of the fuel planning in FSB. Nice to see Navigraph finally supplying the NavData for this! Ryan Gamurot
January 16, 201115 yr yes, thanks for the update - however I seem to be having some issues!Just tried planning a flight from EGBB - EGPH, but the rout heads out east (incorrect) and then terminates after the SID. I'm using the TNT3D departure and the TWEE1A arrival.Have updated both the PMDG and FSBuild AIRAC, but to no avail. Will try out another flight to see if it is just a one-off... Ed Haslam
January 16, 201115 yr Looks like the latest version, 2404, fixed the PMDG export problem. Happy days! Ed Haslam
January 17, 201115 yr Thanks for drawing my attention to this. I probably wouldn't have found it for a while. The navigraph support is nice, now I can have everything run on the same cycle! Joe Sherrill
January 18, 201115 yr Author Al Jourdan caught another revision to 2405 with more fixes. Same thread I guess.http://www.fsbuild.com/dl/Fsbuild2405_Upd.exe
