Suggestion, MD-10 and 717

Featured Replies

There are lots of high quality biz-jets, not just those two from wilco. and wilco have also done the E-Jets quite well and aerosoft are working on a CRJ that looks good. Though PMDG would realy do that aircraft justice. The 717 is a plane that often pops up in these threads. There is NO decent effort on one for FSX and even if not PMDG I would love someone to do a high quality one as it's one of my favorites. The MD-10 would be pointless as it is barely different to the MD-11.Another one of my favs is the BAe 146/Avro range. I've yet to find an example of this for fsx also.

Oh yeah. Now I remember some others. At the time I posted only those 2 came to my mind. Sorry.

I'd really love to see a PMDG-fidelity Spruce Goose.-stefan
While you kid. I myself would really love to see a Spruce Goose done, but I think this request would be better placed with A2A since they have already built the B377 (which utilizes the same engines, and props). I bet that baby would be a handful! I was really hoping before they encased her in a building that they would settle the age old debate of whether she could really fly (not 100 feet above the water, but I mean fly fly). Unfortunately I think it will be left to speculation for at least my lifetime. One day I hope to make the pilgrimage out to Evergreen in Oregon to see her in person.

Bold added by me.that is exactly why I suggested the MD-10, because it would be an easy expansion for the MD-11, easier than the 747-8. Because the instruments are all there, the cockpit too... I'm sure, that most of the FD would be similar. Ricardo DePaula

Ricardo,If they are so similar then it is just a waste of time. I would not pay extra money to just add a shorter version of the same plane that Is only flowen by 1 operator. If it was a free enhancement to the package then why not, but I don't think PMDG are going to do that.I Would prefer a well modeled DC-10 over the MD-10

Like I said, cheap, easy to produce expansion for easy income. They achieved the same thing with the 747 LCF and the 747-8. How many operators use the LCF and how many are in service? Regardless of the answer,it is still extremely unlikely that an md-10 would be made, and much less a fully fledged DC-10.Ricardo De Paula

By the time PMDG is finished with all their upcoming project, a 787 will be the next logical choice.
