Black Screens on alls 737 series

Featured Replies

Hello,All was good for several years on my PC with the PMDG 737 series. And yesterday evening, when i load the 737 for a flight in FS2004, all the screens (PFD, ND, EICAS) were black, some buttons aren't clickable and the texture of the overhead was strange. All the screens were black, but the engines were running and i can for example taxi.I try to uninstall the 737 from my pc with the removal tool, and reinstall it, but the same thing append. Before yesterday, the thing i do on my FS2004 was to install the Quality Wings 757. And i remark that this installer install the microsoft Visual Basic C++ 2005 Redistribuable too.So i try to restore my computer the day before this QW757 install, but this doesn't help.So i ask u the question : do you have an idea of what is going bad ?Thx a lot !!Gilles Menghetti

Salut Gilles,If you try "black screens" in the search function in this forum you'll find a few posts on this topic.I didn't read the posts and, since this problem never happened to me, I don't know if the answers to you question are there, but at least it's a starting point.Bon courage!Bruno

Sounds like one of two issues, either the install was corrupted or there is an authentication issue. Unfortunately both can only be solved by reinstalling. You could also ask PMDG directly through their support web site.
