January 27, 201115 yr Hei! I'm really wondering if NGX will have a failure system which will be more realistic then the one in fsx? So that aircraft will respond to any failure the way it should and that we actually have to do something from the cockpit to fix it and not simply turn the failure off again and think of it as "fixed"! :) If yes, could you give us a little heads-up on what's covered and how realistic it will be? :)"For disscusion" What you guys think would be cool to have? I really want full engine fire simulation!PS. Can't wait to see a cockpit picture at night! Roman Lyubimov
January 27, 201115 yr Yes, it's been discussed multiple times actually. There really doesn't appear to be anything that won't be simulated.
January 27, 201115 yr Hi.They've told that they've completely re-built the failure system for the NGX, and that it's gonna be very extensive. Although little information has been revealed about it so far.Personally I would love to see a system which enables the user to setup everything like if he was in the "real" simulator for his typerating or recurrency check. Like the smallest advisory messages, to caution and warning messages.. All the way to engine fire, APU fire, compressor stalls, different leaks, depressurization and so forth Thomas Danielsen - FAA Commercial Pilot, JAA ATPL

Imagine how will be flying the NGX with FS2Crew, getting performance data with TOPCAT, realistic weather with Active Sky, great textures with REX... It will be huge. Can't wait for it! Matheus Mafra
January 28, 201115 yr PS. Can't wait to see a cockpit picture at night! They already posted a couple of night pictures on their facebook page. Ryan Gamurot
January 28, 201115 yr I would really like to see V1 cuts that are triggered by speed rather than time, as in the FSX failure menu.Terry Swindle
