February 5, 201115 yr Hello SimmersI am a new member of the forum and I hop I can find a solution to my problem.Just assembled a rig to run FSX with 3 23" Samsung monitors. Graphics card is Sapphire ATI 6970.I am facing problems when I load a plane and try to view a panel during the flight. For example, when flying the PMDG 747-400x, if I go to "views","instrument panel" then "overhead panel", The mouse pointer goes crazy and starts flickering, my frame rate drops from around 30 to a sluggish 9 or 10, and the panel does not display.I tried default aircraft like the Bombardier, same thing.Tonight I went back to single monitor playing and all panels load ok. So it seems like the issue is with running eyefinity.Any ideas ?Many thanks in advance.
February 6, 201115 yr The problem is caused by 2D panels being too wide when using 3 monitors. You need to change your aircraft.cfg to make the panels smaller and the problem will go away.Check out this posthttp://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php/19351-Getting-rid-of-mouse-flickers-and-cockpits!!-problem!!?p=100155&viewfull=1#post100155
February 6, 201115 yr Ha- I just made a post with the same issue on the flickering issue. Keep me posted on your results. You have to adjust the panel.cfg... not the aircraft.cfg.. I think.Keep me posted on your results. Bman. Benjamin Van Eps

February 6, 201115 yr See my post at http://forum.avsim.net/topic/326390-5040x1024-flickering-mouse/Frank Thanks Frank, Works like a charm..!man I should have posted here long ago.. it was driving me nuts.. Bloody hell.. the solution is so easy..!
February 7, 201115 yr Well I tried it last night and it worked with the PMDG 747-400x overhead panel. Now the panel comes on correctly sized and no more flickering mouse pointer and crippled frame rates.Note that the changes need to be appled to both the Panel.cfg and Panelvc.cfg.Now it is a matter of going through all the panels and adjusting them one by one. Thanks to all for your responses.
