After playing FSX exclusively for almost a year, I've decided to reinstall FS9. To my surprise, FS9 actually is still quite ok visually with high AS. After reinstalling the addons I have and a LOT of WOAI planes, I'm running 100% traffic w/o any visual or framerate problems. I really miss traffic in FSX, especially at major hubs. A flight simulator is so much better when you can see other planes in the sky and in airports. To improve the simualtor experience, I plan to purchase GE Pro, all UT packs, FSGenesis, weather addon, and 3rd party ATC. My questions are as follows:Other than GE PRo, UT, FSGenesis, and airports, are there any other scenery addons you all recommend? Also, which Active Sky version do you all recommend for FS9? And finally, which ATC addon should I buy?Thanks!

Whee do you fly? There are numerous scenery packages out there for Europe, and several for other places in particular Australia/NZ and parts of Asia (mainly Japan). Also some coverage of South Africa.scott s..

I don't know if you can get any other version but Active Sky Evolution is the one to get. I would also definitely get REX for FS9. With regard to ATC Addon, Radar Contact 4 is the only one I've really tried (except for one I can't recall the name of from the Fly! days...) and it's a really nice one, but I don't use it anymore since I do all my flightsimming on VATSIM (Online flying with people acting as controllers).
