Writeup of RNP

It would be great if these approaches into NZQN were in included in the Navigraph cycle but still the arent. Would be great to use these with the will equiped NGX.
Navigraph can only work within the limitations of the legacy sidstar file format, which doesn't accomodate radius-to-fix legs and other concepts very well. I think Navigraph is doing the best they can within the limitations without customized hand-built sidstar procedures.

Dan, you are an often referenced expert on SID/STAR procedures. If navigraph is unable to proper RNP procedures into their AIRAC releases, is it possible for you or anyone else to create these RF legs and create NGX specific sid/star navdata? Do we know for a fact that the NGX's autopilot is capable of these types of legs, and if if that is true will Navigraph or users be able to accomodate that added feature?

Some navigation databases (for Flight Sim aircraft) are capable of recording leg types and Navigraph provides the correct data for this. The main problem with implementing curved approaches is that many of these are propriety and the coordinates of the fixes may not be available (they should not be printed on the chart as this may incite some pilots to manually enter the fixes into their navigation computer).Cheers,Nick Jones
