RSS Feed

Featured Replies

I saw some posts about this but couldn't find any follow up. Can we expect a solid RSS feed? I mean a real one? And please not that feed43.com, it's rubbish. A clean XML feed is easy to do make really and I could really use one for my Virtual Airline List webpage.

perhaps u need to look around first, as we already have one. Each and every page, forum, post, even this one, has a little orange and white "RSS" icon.Looks like this:http://static.avsim.net/forum/public/style_images/master/feed.png Click on it and RSS whatever u want.

As I said, not the rubbish feed43.com one (read my post before you reply please), but a clean XML version like the one I am using on my VAList page, here's an example for you. Of course I noticed the RSS icon, I'm not that stupid... And I'm not that interested in feeds about forum posts, and not really about what's new in the download section, but more about new reviews, the latest three months worth would be excellent. Thanks for the somewhat dumb response though. Brilliant.

I think you have contradicted yourself! You are asking for something to occur and then attack someone who might be able to assist? Where is the logic in that?Even if you get what you want *NOW*, you'll probably be back asking for even more.Take a chill pill, or two. This kind of wording is inappropriate for some pretend airline thingy.

You claim not to be stupid, but "giving lip" to one of the Administrators at AVSIM sure seems to be remarkably foolish...

Well that's interesting, but I didn't start with an aggressive undertone here. Say whatever you want, but I asked a normal question, mentioned that I actually saw that RSS feed by giving it's destination on the frontpage (feed43). I was clearly not asking about the Forum feeds. So no apologies from me really. If administrators here are that blunt and not care about reading the question in the first place but jump to conclusions like that, then I am not the one to apologize.

the feed is NOT generated by feed43 in ANY way, it's generated by the forum software. And if you bothered to read anything in the past months, you will see that in a week or so we are bringing on a NEW webpage that is PHP based and will support full RSS of everything. Sorry if you are not happy with your FREE service. I'll go ahead and close this thread now so we can avoid your next free link advertising to your VA.
