RC4 ReInstallation Complexities

Featured Replies

G'dayIn August 2009, my son purchased RC4 as a gift for me.I have just reinstalled it on a new drive and the registration key is no longer valid. Can I email for a new key given that Product ID is probably now different for the new drive installation and of course the name (not surname) will be different and lastly the email address will not be the same.I can if necessary get him to email the product ID with his name if required.CheersPaul Bayley

Here it is: Getting a new key is required every time you reinstall. The process is easy. Make certain you follow the instructions EXACTLY, especially the topic part of your email. It has been so long since I did it the details escape me. JD will respond very quickly with your new key.Start RC and go to the registration screen and obtain the following info: Key request email. If there is a minus sign (-) in the Product ID, that has to be entered as in the Key request email. Also make sure that the Product ID, in your Key request email, is followed by a exclamation point (!), your first name, another exclamation point (!) and your last name. For example: -12345633 ! john ! dekker The most frequently asked questions have been answered on our FAQ page at the following URL: http://www.jdtllc.com/faq.htm Please check here first, if you have a question.

i looked up "bayley" and i see your contact info, and your son's. the problem will be, your contact info shows versions 2 and 3 purchased. version 4 was purchased by your son. when you request a key, you will probably use your email address, the key generator will see that you didn't purchase version 4, and reply with an email to that affect. so send me an email, and i will send you a key, remove your son's info, and add version 4 to your contact info.jd
