Cloud reflection removal

Featured Replies

Hi-I'm currently running Bufferpools=0 which requires a water setting of High2x to eliminate texture flashing. This works really well except we don't get cloud reflections here in the SF Bay Area under any circumstances. Is there a way to remove or minimize the reflections while keeping my current setting? Thanks,Mark

Hi Mark,Try FSWater Configurator. do *NOT* use the shader 3 mod if you use FSWC

Can anyone explain why bp=0 requires high water setting?Bjorn

Can anyone explain why bp=0 requires high water setting?Bjorn
Hi Bjorn,it is not a requirement. BP=0 exposes a 'glitch' in all single pass shader operations related to water. Setting Water 2.0 HIGH forces a two shader pass which 'solves' this, thats all. Try using BP=0 with a setting lower than 2.0 HIGH and you'll experience white flashes. Set it back to 2.0 High and the flashes are gone.

This is precisely th case with me-white flashes disappear with the high2x setting.
