Trims after landing

Featured Replies

Hi BrianIs there any way you could get the FO to reset the trims as part of the after landing flow..that would be cool. Have to say that I was a bit reluctant to move away from the voice commander versions, but this button version is superb!! So thanks very much...just need the newer members of the FS2crew range to catch up.. :( CheersRich

Hi Rich,FO doesn't touch the stab trim. When using cold wx procedures, the Capt should set the stab trim between 0 - 2 units to prevent melting slush/snow etc from getting into the balance bays.I just confirmed this with Damien.

Hi BryanThanks for checking that.RegardsRich

FO doesn't touch the stab trim.
Really? And I thought he does...then it must be the feature of the iFly itself, because everytime after landing the stab trim is set automatically to 4.0 units as per operation procedures, I can even hear the sound of the trimming wheel.
