SLI/Crossfire setups

Featured Replies

Hey Guys How to setup or order setup """I personally recommend that from a 'budget' and 'bang per buck' point of view that you forget SLI/Crossfire setups (as these very rarely add more than 20% performance increase and cost around £300-400 for the privelage)"""Happy LandingsEPZA

At least for FSX, a single gtx 580 is the best way to go.

I manage ok with gtx 460 2 gb overclocked, triple head and a touch screen. AA is not superb, but bang for bucks it is. Bjorn

What FSAA & AF settings Björn? I'm testing my 460 with AF set to application controlled and it looks just as good as x16 via Inspector to me. That allowed me to run 8xSQ AA with the external limiter set to 30 or 40. Of course my resolution is just 1920x1080, but it might help you increase your FSAA levels.Just in case you want to give it a go or something

Thanks, tried different high AA settings, but no change. May be the 5040x1050 (was the same before the 4th screen). I'll try your suggestion though, thank you very much. :)B
