February 22, 201115 yr I got a Crucial Real C300 SSD, so far only FSX on it. Got 80+ GB of space left. If I were to install another sim or game onto that SSD, would that in any way mess up data transfer rate for FSX (and the other program for that matter)?Bjorn "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
February 22, 201115 yr No!Just do not fill it up to the max limit. I have read no more than 90% full, but do not recall seeing any tests to back the 90% figure up.

I have almost 90g of FSX on my 120g SSD. How do you get by with so little? By the time I put all my ORBX in and many of my GA payware airplanes in, there is not a huge amount left.Kind regards,
February 22, 201115 yr Author Thanks Idaho. (got some tank busting coming up later this year)Hi, Stephen, likewise! One MUST have a tech section to post in, it´s one of those male urges I must admit, that my hangar is relatively small. I spend all my flying time with just a few good AC And I´m stocked up with orbx AU regions and a handfull of airports, not going for other regions, plenty of red sand to fly over . I´m into the CS 757 now, great start up on the touch screen, got my trusty Lama X, and awaiting the Alouette III. The 737 NGX will probably find it´s way into my hangar one day, but it has kept me waiting, now it´ll have to wait :P Tech you around!B "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"
