Fs2004 Navdata or something else?

Featured Replies

At first I thought this is iFly problems since I only fly that aircraft now. But when I tried with PMDG,same results.I've look into this for 2 days and still no luck. What I have recently done is update FSBUILD AIRAC to 1102 and install FS2Crew iFly. And I've tried installing back FSBUILD 2.4 (without AIRAC 1102) and full reinstall of iFly,no luck.Notice the speed next to the cruising level at the FMC in the second picture,100 knot?fmcu.jpgAccording to FMC...0.35 mach at FL400?ifly.jpgIn the picture, the plane is sitting at Chicago Midway, but according to the map in the panel,Chicago Mid way is wayy over...there on the upper rightNotice the distance between the waypoints,0 and 0 and 0. They are standing on each other.ifly5.jpg

I'm having similiar problems with my PMDG aircraft(both the MD11 as the B744).When i load a Flightplan (build with FSBuild) there is a mishap in the route. The plan goes all the way to the west when it should go to the east for example. The weird thing is if i load the exact same flightplan in my LVLD763,it shows up just fine.Allready tried reinstalling both Navdata files, but to no luck.Anyone can help us out?Regards,Steven

Does anybody know where the default Fs2004 nav is? Both my PMDG and iFly have this problem, but the navdata of these 2 are at different folders so there must be one same folder that they both use.

Some people in iFly forums tell me that Fs2004 nav is "hardcore" into the .bgl files in FS9/Scenery folders. If so, the nav data in each part of the world should be at their own folder right? (such as America's nav should be in NAMC,NAME,NAMW folder and Europe's nav should be in EUROW and EURE)I need somebody to confirm about this :(

Take a look at my recent thread "Nav problems" in the PMDG 737NG support forum here in AVSIM. You may find interesting pointers toward the end of the thread. You can use the BGL2XML utility to decipher the stock FS9 nav data.I recommend also the free utilities on the HSORS site.Good luck.
