SkySimulations

Featured Replies

Hey, does anyone know what's the deal with SkySimulations? I bought their DC9 about 2 months ago on SimMarket and I have not been able to run the update. SkySim has no forum and they haven't responded to my emails. Everytime I run the update I get an error saying responce from server was not correct. Any ideas? And of cource SimMarket doesn't provide support...Cheers!

Here is their forum link:http://forum.simflight.com/forum/102-sky-simulations-support/I don't know how good the company's responses are, though....give it a shot.Good luck,Jim

Hello SWVA4420,Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and offer the link. That was very kind of you! :( I will check it out now. Thanks again. :(

You're welcome, and I hope you'll be able to find what you need. I have their DC-9 as well, and really like it....it's some old fashioned "steam gauge" flying, at its best.Cheeris!Jim

Hey Jim,I checked out the site, they said they would no longer offer support there back in 07. And my issue wasn't there either. I am glad you like it, but it was a waste of my money. It's the last thing I'll ever buy on sim market. If a developer does not offer a direct support forum, I am staying away. Still no responce to my emails.

I also, have that bird. It took about a week before they did respond to one of my e-mails about a month ago.Don't get down on payware .Just because one company has troubles doesn't mean they all are bad.I have had many good responses from several developers big and small. After all, they are people just like you with problems too. :(

No, please understand. I have spend close to 2,000 on payware addons both aircraft and scenery. It's when there is no means of support besides an email (that doesn't get answered) that makes me angry... I had to purchase it from SimMarket which doesn't provide support, then the developer doesn't provide support either and they are still making money on the product. This is wrong.

I think you should post a comment on the product page at simmarket as part of your review of the product. No developer, wants bad reviews on their product page and if they then try to help you out ,update your review. :(
