March 1, 201115 yr This may be the kind of question to send me to the gallows but... :( Is it possible to have a Turbine Duke without winglets? There, I said it. Don't shoot me - please :( I'm just not a lover of winglets. I think it's much better looking without them. I'm the same with tubeliners too.I just love that silver painted standard Duke without winglets. Is it it possible to do?Thanks Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

Aesthetically I prefer an old fashioned wing. But almost all converted Dukes now have winglets so we went with the flow. All the best,Rob - RealAir Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page

They help with climb, high altitude operations, cruise speed and also low speed operations.
